David’s Insight on “Interwine”

This portrait of two seated men mirroring each other in such a connected manner was captured in Morocco. It has a light feel to it and a sense of harmony. Everything about them is intertwined. The hands on the knee, heads turning the same direction, the same facial expressions. They almost feel like one person. The interconnectedness and genial disposition of the two subjects against the grit of their surroundings makes for a very interesting portrait.
