Our world today is centered around a movement to forget, with traditions, cultures and landmarks changing at warp speed. Many are or will disappear in our lifetimes. I believe in creating work that will endure, creating a visual record for those who come after us.

It reflects my belief that photography carries both a responsibility and an opportunity: to witness the everyday with care, preserve it with intention, and offer it to those who come after us. Sign up for the Spotlight to dive deeper into the stories behind the images.

I tend to seek places on the eve of being lost. Some images, like the Long Neck Woman in Thailand and the Cormorant Fishermen of China, are examples of long-lived cultures that are on the edge of disappearing forever. A living connection to the past remains but as they transition to the future, the traditions will be but a memory.

Although I don’t have an online store, many of my images are available as limited-edition fine art prints through direct inquiry or selected gallery representation. Availability is determined by suitability, edition sizes and printing process. Please use the contact page for inquiries.

Every printing process is chosen with craftsmanship to honor the longevity of the photograph. Platinum Palladium and Dye Transfer prints are among the rarest archival printing processes still practiced today. I also print using modern Archival Pigment, Silver Gelatin, and Chromogenic archival methods.
