Tenganan Village, Bali

Tenganan is Bali’s last remaining traditional village, where customs, ceremonies, and community life continue within a framework that has endured for centuries.

While much of Bali has changed through tourism and development, Tenganan remains closely connected to its cultural foundations. Traditions are not preserved as performances for visitors. They continue as part of daily life, passed from one generation to the next through practice and participation.
