Wyoming

At the foot of the Teton Range, the remains of early homesteads still stand against weather, seasons, and time. Built by settlers who arrived in the Jackson Valley in the early twentieth century, these structures outlast many of the lives, families, and communities that once surrounded them.

Yet Wyoming is not only a story of what remains. Across the ranches and open range, traditions continue to be carried forward through work, stewardship, and the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next. Horses, landscapes, and people remain connected by rhythms shaped more by seasons and land than by modern pace.

These photographs document both inheritance and endurance: the traces left behind and the lives still being lived beneath the mountains and the big sky.
