New Zealand is often described by its scale. Mountains, glaciers, fiords, and skies that seem to extend beyond measure. Yet what remained with me was not their size, but the quiet they created.

In moments of stillness, the landscape seemed to ask less of our attention and more of our presence. Standing before these places, it became possible to sense something larger than yourself. Not through spectacle, but through the silence.
