There are places where the world feels larger than we do.

Along New Zealand’s southern coast, that feeling arrives in many forms; a solitary lighthouse facing the sea, ancient stones shaped by time, clouds drifting across distant mountains, and water moving with quiet persistence. These photographs were made while standing still long enough to notice. They are not images of a coastline alone. They are reflections on presence, wonder, and the connection that becomes possible when the distractions of everyday life fall away and something greater is allowed to enter.
