First settled in the 1880s, Crescent Moon Ranch in Sedona, Arizona has been a homestead, cattle ranch, a farm, a commercial orchard, a weekend retreat, and now recreational public space. This view of Cathedral Rock is from the open lawn on the ranch.This rock has been carved over the last 6 million years or so by groundwater traveling along a fault line undercutting and gradually collapsing the rocks above.The “golden hour” glow makes this scene come alive.
