The narrow streets of Jodhpur, India are lined with storefronts and shops. Tradespeople performing their crafts or selling their wares, their spaces personalized with colorful paint, equipment and supplies. The calendar hanging behind this gentleman seemed to be ever watchful of him as he worked his sewing machine. He looked up at the precise moment I released my shutter. An instant connection captured in the fraction of a second.
