David’s Insight on “Against the Wind” Phi Phi Don Island, Thailand
Arriving on Phi Phi was an epic adventure. Transferring from a boat to a tractor just off the beach with luggage and camera equipment was a little unnerving, but all’s well that ends well! Check out the video below. Our days on the island were tumultuous, with stormy weather dominating the shoots. The iconic longtail boat gets tossed around pretty good in the chop but Mosquito Island stands solid in the background, grounding the image and the layers.
