David’s Insight on “Bound"
The ship graveyard at Green Point in Bluff Harbour, New Zealand holds the remains of at least 14 small ships, all in different states of demise which are visible at low tide. I visited the site on a stormy day with rain and winds that almost kept me away. Using a 2m3s automated frame average allowed me to smooth out the rough water and the sky to create this beautiful moody capture. Orchestrating it all from under a flimsy umbrella with my fingers crossed! The best landscape images are often captured in the worst conditions. So glamourous!
