David’s Insight on “Shoe Maker”
Captured in Kandy, Sri Lanka, this image is a member of the “Through the Eyes of the Streets” project that celebrates the small business owners that make up the fabric of the neighborhoods in South, Southeastern Asia.Kandy is situated in the hills of central Sri Lanka where many of the plantations are located. Walking through the small town, the locals were friendly and engaging. I chose to print this collection in platinum as there is a timeless feel to the people performing these traditional crafts.
