David’s Insight on “Catherdral Under the Stars”
Starting out at 12:30 am, walking through the darkness, we quietly approached Crescent Moon Ranch. It was a cool and crisp Spring morning with a brilliant sky. Using lights to “paint” the foreground as the galaxy rose behind Cathedral Rock, we were closely watched by the resident coyote. This ranch dates to the 1880’s and the image feels surreal. This scene was captured with a SONY A7S3 camera with a 14mm lens at ISO 2000, 15s, F/2.
