#159 Tuesday’s with David - “Old Man of Storr”

David’s Insight on Old Man of Storr"

The Storr is a 2,359-foot mountain on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye, Scotland.  The rocky outcroppings were formed from erosion and an ancient landslide. When viewed from the front, the rocks resemble the face of a haggard old man-thus, the name. This image was captured from the edge of Loch Fada, including the surrounding area. A house in the distance gives the image scale. I met the shepherd of the land.  He has been working it for 45 years!
