#168 Tuesday’s with David - “Portree” Scotland, UK

Portree is the capital of the Isle of Skye, a 200-year-old fishing village on a calm bay. Shown here from the hills above, the Uig Free Church of Scotland to the left and the city along the harbor below. Portree is a busy hub of activity which contrasts with the rest of the Isle, providing a good base for exploration. This frame averaged image sets the scene for the Isle of Skye, but the town itself is hectic by comparison.  See movie below for scenes from Portree Village.
