David’s Insight on Neist Point Lighthouse"

Oh my gosh!  So, it IS worth the hike down to get this view, BUT it is a real challenge. It is a rather short but very steep path where you can stop to talk to the goats along the way. Found at the most westerly tip of the Isle of Skye, the famous lighthouse was built in 1900. It is a stunning sight. There is a field of stone towers in the clearing below, built by visitors of all different shapes and sizes. Being out on the peninsula feels rather surreal. See the movie below for the walking, refer to my other image “Edge” to get the larger perspective.
