David’s Insight on “Baker”
The narrow streets of the main square in the Old Medina in Casablanca host an open-air market, connecting vendors with local shoppers. The traditional bread, Khobz, is a flat loaf as pictured on the baker’s cart and is a staple in Moroccan cuisine. The subtle earth tones, his earnest expression and posture create an interesting depth-captured beautifully with the Phase One Camera System. One of my favorite portraits from Morocco
